From Day 3: Abajo (Downstairs)

Tú eres Marta

Spanish normally leaves tú (“you”) out because the verb already identifies the person:

Hear it in the conversation

  • Amparo

Tú eres Marta, la de Teruel.

You’re Marta, the one from Teruel.

  • Day 1: Soy Marta — “I’m Marta”; no yo needed.
  • Day 3: Eres Marta — “You’re Marta”; no tú needed.

Amparo adds tú in Tú eres Marta for emphasis: she has identified Marta.

Notes explain it. The conversation makes it stick.

In Formula 100 you hear each phrase in a short scene first, then recall it from memory. The phrases come back in your review deck just before you’d forget them. From Week 2, you also rebuild each conversation in Spanish a week later.
