From Day 4: La cinco (Number five)

Quiero lavar la ropa

Put an infinitive after quiero to say what you want to do; Spanish treats la ropa (“clothes”) as a singular collective noun.

Hear it in the conversation

  • Marta

Sí, la de Teruel. Quiero lavar la ropa.

Yes, the one from Teruel. I want to wash my clothes.

Notes explain it. The conversation makes it stick.

In Formula 100 you hear each phrase in a short scene first, then recall it from memory. The phrases come back in your review deck just before you’d forget them. From Week 2, you also rebuild each conversation in Spanish a week later.
