From Day 6: La víspera (The night before)

Limpia, doblada y planchada

Spanish can place several descriptions together: limpia, doblada y planchada.

Hear it in the conversation

  • Marta

    Sí. Está limpia y doblada.

    Yes. It’s clean and folded.

They all end in -a because they describe la camisa, and y appears before the final description.

Notes explain it. The conversation makes it stick.

In Formula 100 you hear each phrase in a short scene first, then recall it from memory. The phrases come back in your review deck just before you’d forget them. From Week 2, you also rebuild each conversation in Spanish a week later.
